NOTICE OF VACANCY

JACKSON VALLEY IRRIGATION DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Pursuant to Government Code Section 1780, notice is hereby given that a vacancy exists on the Board of Directors of the Jackson Valley Irrigation District due to the passing of a seated Director. The Board of Directors is seeking letters of interest from qualified individuals who are registered voters, landowners, and residents of the District.

Individuals interested in being considered for appointment must submit a letter of interest no later than June 17, 2026. Letters may be submitted by mail or hand delivery to:

An ad hoc committee of the Board will review submitted letters and conduct candidate interviews during the week of June 22, 2026. Following these interviews, the committee will bring a recommended finalist to the July 8, 2026, Regular Board Meeting for a full Board interview and possible appointment to fill the vacancy.

The appointed Director will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term, ending with the 2027 District election.
